Registration Is Open – 2026 Corsair Nationals
Registration is now open for the 2026 Corsair Nationals, sponsored by Corsair Marine and co-organized by the SF Bay Area Multihull Association and the Encinal Yacht Club in Alameda, California. Three days of high‑adrenaline racing and on‑shore community events are scheduled on San Francisco Bay in classic July conditions.
The regatta will feature a long‑distance race on Friday and multiple buoy races over the weekend, sailed in the south and central Bay. Two primary classes will be scored separately: a Corsair Class for trimarans manufactured by Corsair Marine including legacy Farrier-designed models manufactured by Corsair, and an Open Class for multihulls not built by Corsair of at least 19 feet LOA, holding a valid 2026 BAMA PHRF Rating Certificate. Additional one‑design classes may be created with a minimum of five entries.
Entry is 275 USD until May 31, 2026, and 350 USD thereafter. Event dockage on the Encinal YC Horseshoe Dock will be free but limited and allocated on a first‑registered, first‑served basis, with raft‑ups Friday through Sunday.
For traveling teams, we’ve prepared a Local Information and Resources Guide covering how to get to Encinal YC, local dockage and slips, launch and haul‑out options, nearby hotels and short‑term rentals, provisioning, marine services, and family‑friendly activities in Alameda.
We’ll also host free online webinars on the event schedule, SF Bay summer conditions, safety, logistics, and boat preparation. Details and sign-up information will follow via email and the event page.
Here's the full email announcement with all details, links, and contacts.
Don’t miss this once‑in‑a‑decade opportunity for fast trimaran and multihull racing, great hospitality at Encinal YC, and a full weekend of racing and camaraderie on San Francisco Bay!
