SSS Vallejo 1 SH
A unique two-day race, featuring a singlehanded race downwind from the Berkeley Circle to Vallejo on Saturday, and a doublehanded race back from Vallejo to Richmond Yacht Club on Sunday (but you can sail singlehanded both days if you want). This race runs late in the season, usually in lighter winds, and there’s always a challenge involving the currents in San Pablo Bay and the Mare Island Strait. The Vallejo Yacht Club hosts a party on Saturday evening and allows competitors to dock overnight. They have room for multihulls up to about the F31 trimarans and smaller cruising cats, but larger multihulls may need to stay at the municipal marina.
