Jack Reacher/Raft-Up Coming Up! The BAMA Jack Reacher/Raft Up is coming up July 31. This is a great BAMA event, where we enjoy a good natured race followed by a raft up in clipper cove for a potluck. Come out and meet your fellow BAMA members and check out their trimarans.

BAMA Multihull Regatta Cancelled: The board decided to cancel this year's multihull regatta. Low racing participation from racers who like a around the buoy format and high effort to host the event were the reasons.
NEW EVENT!!! BAMA Try a Multihull Sail & Raft-Up, Saturday, September 24th. We are resurrecting our Try a Multihull Event this year with a new format. BAMA members will be asked to find folks who are sailors and potential boat owners, who have never tried a multihull, and invite them for a day of sailing. The event will mimic the format of our Jack Reacher Event; folks will sail around a race course, for a fun race, and then raft up with other multihulls in Clipper Cover for a snack and tours of the multihulls. We hope that by engaging members of BAMA to bring potentially interested bay sailors to our event we can generate some interest in multihulls and grow our fleet.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS: BAMA Farallones Cruise, Saturday, October 1. The BAMA Farallones Cruise is a great event. If you have wanted to sail around the Farallones but don't want to do it racing, join BAMA for a group cruise around the rocks. This sail typically includes a chase boat that monitors the progress of the fleet, and the emphasis is fun and great sailing and sightseeing. There are usually whale sightings, so don't miss out.
