BAMA Cup Update

Drew Scott & Gordon Nash, winners of this year's DHF, approach the start

BAMA Racers!  The BAMA Cup Series is just over half way through the race schedule now, with six races complete and five races remaining. Still ahead we have the Westport Regatta, the Encinal Regatta, IC#5 (which we are substituting in for the cancelled BAMA Multihull Regatta), the SSS Half Moon Bay race, and the Great Pumpkin.  Check our BAMA calendar for remaining BAMA CUP race dates.

The current BAMA Cup standings are posted on our website.  Currently in first place, by a LARGE margin, is Bottle Rocket, with an impressive 22.6 points. In second place we have Bird of Prey with 12 points. Greyhound and Looking Good 3 are tied for third, with 11 points each. It's a close battle for second, but not for first, and we will see if things change over the last five races. Some big races are coming up, and those can have big impacts on the BAMA Cup point totals, so come out and race.

See you at the Westport Regatta, July 16, if not sooner.

Again...please note...IC#5, on August 13, has been substituted in the BAMA Cup schedule for the cancelled BAMA Multihull Regatta, previously scheduled for August 6th. Please mark your calendars accordingly.
