DESCRIPTION:On Thursday \, March 30\, at 7:30pm BAMA is giving a Zoom seminar to go over the basics of race start sequences\, and the different ways they are conducted for races in the bay. This is the first part of a two-part learning event\, with the second part to be held on the water on April 1. \nWe will cover the rules in effect at race starts\, tools that can help with starts\, and we’ll cover race start strategies.  For anyone new to racing\, this is the perfect opportunity to learn how races run.  For those of you who are veteran racers\, it will be a useful refresher. \nThe event will be FREE for current 2023 BAMA members\, you don’t need to have a rating for your boat to participate\, and you can participate in the Thursday Zoom Seminar session as a stand alone even without registering a boat for the on-the-water session.
